Another watercolour on Arches NOT paper. 140lb 1/2 imperial. This is the second tutorial I’ve painted from Geoff’s online tutorials. A very satisfying challenge. There’s a few areas I could have done better, but I was starting to ‘fiddle’ so it’s brushes down!

This is Kilchurn Castle on the shores of Loch Awe. Watercolour on Arches NOT paper. 140lb. 1/2 imperial. This is the first tutorial I’ve attempted from Geoff Kersey’s new online tutorials. the standard of his tutorials is outstanding and I’ll be attempting many more.

Hi everybody
I’m over the moon that two of my paintings have been awarded status in two days. Firstly my ‘Winter Is Coming’ watercolour came second on the November challenge on the ‘Purely Watercolour’ group and also my watercolour of Ullswater has been given the status of ‘cover of the month’ on Facebooks ‘Simply Watercolour’ group. Here’s a screen grab of both awards.
