1: All paintings and prints are sold unframed. This allows you to choose what sort of frame you want yourself and gets around the problem of sending glass through the post. Not a good idea!
2: Watercolours and prints are rolled and packaged in a substantial 76mm wide tube for dispatch. There is a 2.5cm border on all prints.
3: Acrylics and oils are painted on standard size canvases or boards (e.g. 16” x 12”) to fit ready made frames which are widely available at places like ‘The Range’.
NOTE: If you are intending to frame acrylics or oils under glass, then I recommend that you use a blind mount between the picture and the glass. By this I mean some sort of spacing between the glass and the painting. This will allow for any impasto (raised) work carried out on the painting to stay clear of the glass.
4: I do not varnish my paintings. I have paintings that are over 20 years old that still look as good today as when they were first painted.
5: All paintings are securely packaged and sent 1st class insured and recorded/tracked.
6: Due to the nature of digital images there may be slight variations between the original painting and the image presented here. I have tried to make the images as close to the original as possible.
All materials used are of the highest Professional quality. I use Winsor and Newton Artist paints , 100% Cotton rag watercolour papers and premium quality Canvas or Canvas Boards.
Please remember that what you are viewing is the result of many hours creative work which is reflected to some degree in the price you pay and the size of the work.
I retain full copyright of my artwork and any sort of reproduction of the original will be infringing those rights. I also reserve the right to reproduce the artwork image concerned in the form of any printed or digital media.
Finally, If you are in any way unhappy with your purchase, then please return it in it’s original condition and packaging to myself for a refund (less postage costs)
Thanks for viewing. Pete.
